Plumber and Gasfitter

Thermal-Tech Mechanical is a local provider of Heating, Air Conditioning, Ventilation, Refrigeration, Process Piping, Controls and associated services. Thermal-Tech Mechanical has been in business for over 15 years and has seen a steady increase in a solid customer foundation and business. Thermal-Tech has rapidly expanding to over 15 employees and is in need of another qualified member.

Qualifications:

- Plumbing certificate 306A, Backflow certificate
- Gas Technician license, G2 or G1
- Working from Heights certificate
- Platform License
- Whmis and OHS certificate
- Good driving abstract
- Good mechanical aptitude with 5 years relevant experience
- Experience in Installing and / or Servicing all aspects mechanical equipment
- Ability to read wiring diagrams, troubleshoot problems with mechanical equipment.
- Ability to complete the installation, preventive maintenance, service of commercial and minor residential equipment
- 3-10 years of field experience in the installation and service of Boiler and or HVACR equipment.
- Physically capable of performing all work related and required of this position. Capable of lifting 50 pounds, frequent bending, occasional squatting/kneeling, working inside and outside in all types of weather, and working from heights
- Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively, both in written and verbal communications
- Able to use an iPad and smartphone.
- Please note that this position requires a **Criminal Background Check.**

**Salary**: $40.00-$46.00 per hour
