**Core responsibilities**:

- Welcoming our customers to Old Yale Brewing Abbotsford with a warm and friendly demeanor
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and provide well-versed knowledge of our beer & food.
- Encourage OYB customers to try additional items via upselling.
- Deliver food promptly and ensure that meals are presented well and are in accordance with the customer’s order.
- Consistently monitor the needs of customers such as refilling drinks or offering additional items.
- Address guest complaints or concerns professionally and promptly.
- Perform various opening and closing duties alongside maintaining cleanliness of the restaurant.
- Communicate effectively and have fun with all team members at Old Yale Brewing
- Above all else, provide top notch customer service

**Here’s what we are looking for**:

- **Experience**:You’ve previously worked in a similar role.
- **Excellent Customer Service**: Providing exceptional customer service is a top priority at Old Yale Brewing. You are friendly, approachable, fun, kind and able to engage with everyone in a positive manner.
- **Strong Communication**: Effective communication is key You’ll need to take orders, answer questions about the menu and ensure the food is presented as per the customers request.
- **Adaptable**:Our location can be fast-paced and ever-changing. Being adaptable and able to handle busy periods is key.
- **Teamwork**: You value teamwork and are always a team player

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $17.85-$19.50 per hour

Expected hours: 16 - 40 per week
