**About the role**
As the Agriculture Financial Analyst, you will be the point of contact for Senior Management for answers on financial reporting, analysis, forecasting, etc. to facilitate effective decision-making. You are great at providing timely and accurate information to the leadership team. You love to analyze data to identify trends and potential issues and present solutions. **What you’ll be doing**
- Producing and developing Westbow Agriculture monthly reporting and financial statements
- Analyzing financial and operational results to better understand company performance
- Providing detailed analysis and commentary on BU results
- Reviewing operations and recommending new productivity or cost saving initiatives
- Leading the Group’s annual budget and forecast process for the Farms
- Evaluating previous budgets, expenditures to develop and implement future budgets
- Delivering competitor analysis, market trends and associated commentary to the Leadership team
- Preparing business cases to support new investment, strategic and other business decisions
- Maintaining and issuing consolidated financials to the bank
- Maintaining relationships with banking partners / build new funding models and coordinate with the Banks
- Overseeing KPI information and communicating to senior management, included but not limited to creating and updating dashboards and coordinating the team to gather information. (Payroll, feed, production, and inventory data)
**What we’re looking for**
- A degree in Business Administration or similar is required
- General understanding of how farms economics work is an asset
- 3+ years of experience in financial analysis is an asset
- Strong analytical skills
- Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks effectively, and work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to communicate financial data to different levels of management with clarity
- Intermediate to Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially MS Excel
- Team oriented, self-motivated, and collaborative with proven results
