Calgary, Canada Mountain Street Plumbing & Heating Inc. Full time

Mountain Street Plumbing & Heating is currently looking for a full-time Journeyperson Service Plumber for commercial repairs, service, boilers, preventative maintenance, and mechanical installation services.

**Compensation**:

- Hourly wage of $45 - $50
- Health Care Spending Account after 3 months of employment
- Overtime Pay
- Work vehicle

**Duties & Essential Responsibilities**:

- Diagnose, install, and repair plumbing fixtures, pipes, and water drainage systems
- Perform scheduled and unscheduled service and repairs on residential and commercial plumbing systems
- Test new fittings and fixtures for leaks
- Read blueprints, determine layouts of plumbing fixtures, water supplies, vent and drainage systems, repair and maintain domestic hot and cold-water systems, install commercial plumbing fixtures
- Building shut down and repairs
- Ability to work 40 hours per week, with paid overtime and on-call as required

**Qualifications, Knowledge & Skills Required**:

- Journeyperson plumbing and gas ticket required
- Experience in commercial service is an asset
- Must have own basic tools to perform job duties
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers and other employees
- Ability to carry out service work in a professional and respectful manner
- Strong troubleshooting ability is an asset
- Valid drivers license with a clean driving record and drivers abstract
- Able to work on boilers and hydronic heating systems
- Self-motivated, reliable, and organized
- Meticulous to detail yet efficient
- Ability to multi-task and effectively manage time to meet required project deadlines
- Able to work independently or part of a team

Pay: Up to $50.00 per hour

Additional pay:

- Overtime pay

**Experience**:

- plumbing: 5 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Journeyperson plumbing and gas ticket (required)
