Catering Assistant

**Overview**
**Duties**
- Preparation: Gather and organize bus pans, catering equipment, and supplies as outlined in the manager’s checklist.
- Equipment Maintenance: Polish and clean dishes, utensils, and serving equipment to ensure they are presentable and ready for use.
- Packing: Efficiently pack and arrange all catering items for transport to event locations, ensuring everything is accounted for and in optimal condition.
- Support: Assist with providing additional support where needed to ensure events are successful and meet client expectations.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the catering team and communicate effectively with the Catering Manager to address any specific requirements or last-minute changes.
- Safety and Sanitation: Adhere to all health and safety regulations, ensuring that all food and equipment handling meets industry standards.
**Qualifications**
- Previous experience in customer service, restaurant, or hospitality industry is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of food service and food preparation techniques and safety
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Willingness to help wherever needed to ensure successful events

Pay: $18.00 per hour
