We are currently recruiting for high performing Field Inspector based in Alberta, preferably in Edmonton (and area). You will report to a Managing Director.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Through site inspections, data collection and collaboration, you will provide accurate data to support consultants in the completion of Appraisal Reports (value estimates) and Insurance Appraisals (cost estimates). This involves data for a variety of private sector buildings and/or public sector buildings, furnishings and equipment component details, measurements and photographs. You will also assist with cost data research and costing. This is a home based position in Alberta and requires regional and on occasion national travel.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

You have an interest in the appraisal industry and are looking to learn and grow your career with a dynamic globally-oriented organization. You are proactive, with a desire to drive results and exceed goals. You are self-directed and able to work both independently and as part of a team. You enjoy building and maintaining positive and professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders. You are naturally client-focused and committed to providing high levels of service to meet our brand promise of ON TIME, CREDIBLE, and PROFESSIONAL. You can easily manage multiple projects and have strong attention to detail. You are proficient with MS Office and databases. You are able and willing to travel regionally and occasionally nationally and have a valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle.

**You have the following credentials**:

- Full proficiency in reading, writing, and oral interactions in English. Proficiency in additional language(s) is an asset;
- Post-secondary education in a related field is an asset;
- Solid construction knowledge;
- Understanding building design and ability to read blueprints are assets; and
- A combination of education, knowledge and experience will be considered.
