**PRODUCTION TEAM MEMBER**

At Terra Breads we take the time and use quality ingredients to make the highest quality artisan baked goods from scratch. These are sold in our own Bakery/Cafes in Vancouver, and in grocery and specialty stores, restaurants, and hotels in Canada and the US.

**THE ROLE**:

- Shaping and baking of bread products. Specifically: Shaping and baking to consistently produce top quality work which meets Terra Breads standards
- Practices SQF HACCP, Food Safe and Work Safe policies and procedures.

**Full-time evening position - shifts start at 3pm and end as late as 11pm, must be available to work weekends**

**THE RIGHT FIT**:
You are physically able to:

- stand and performing baking tasks for up to 5 hours at a time.
- to lift and stack 20 kg flour bags up to a height of 180 cm.
- to lift 15 kg tubs of dough to a height of 160 cm.
- to maneuver 200 kg rolling racks of dough.

Personal suitability:

- Consistently works well with team members in creating a positive atmosphere.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:
At least 1 year of experience preferred working in a baking environment or you are a graduate of a certified baking program; and you are familiar with all bakery equipment.
You work in an efficient and organized manner, with mínimal supervision.
You like working in a fast-paced environment and have good communication skills. FoodSafe certification is an asset.

**TO APPLY**:
Pay: $18.50-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 40 per week
