**Responsibilities**
- Provide extensive remote assistance to clients with all their computer support needs - the majority of support is over the phone so you must have very strong telephone skills
- Provide onsite assistance to clients with all their computer support needs
- Research issues where more sophisticated responses are required
- Deploy new computer installations including full Windows Server and Windows 10 and 11 workstations, including use of Hyper-V
- Keep up to date on new hardware and software developments in the industry
- Maintain accurate records of client information - using ITBoost
- Provide simple training to clients as required
- Maintain full timesheets detailing daily activities - using Connectwise Manage
- Extensive use of Connectwise Automate Remote Monitoring tool
- Extensive use of Datto Backup and Business Continuity solutions
- Extensive use of WatchGuard firewalls

**Qualifications**
- Excellent written and oral communication in English
- Personable, friendly, outgoing manner
- Customer focused - used to working in a small business environment
- Ability to work unsupervised in an unstructured environment
- Excellent problem solving and research ability
- Results and completion oriented
- In depth knowledge of computer hardware and software industry
- Full knowledge of Windows 7, 8 and 10
- Excellent knowledge of Windows Servers, all generations for detailed troubleshooting
- Good knowledge of MacOS is an asset
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office365 Admin portal - Having O365 experience is not the same thing
- Good knowledge of Virtualised environments using Hyper V
- Knowledge of WatchGuard firewalls is an asset
- Comfortable with minor repairs to PC hardware
- CURRENT Microsoft certification is required but can be obtained after hiring
- 3 years of very relevant experience required
- Full time use of your own car is required (you will be compensated for mileage to clients)
- Knowledge of ConnectWise Automate RMM is an asset
- Experience with Connectwise Manage PSA is an asset

This is a permanent full time position. Hours are Monday - Friday 8 AM - 5 PM daily (1 hour for lunch). Some after hours support is required on a rotation with other technicians but that will be done remotely.
