**Your Role at Fix Auto Downtown Toronto**
As an **Auto Estimator**, you will be the key link between our customers, insurance partners, and repair technicians. You’ll assess vehicle damage, prepare accurate estimates, and guide customers through the repair process with clarity and confidence.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Greet customers and assess vehicle damage to prepare accurate estimates using estimating software (e.g. Audatex, Mitchell, or CCC).
- Communicate effectively with insurance companies to ensure proper documentation and approvals.
- Take detailed photos of vehicle damage and upload them into relevant estimating platforms.
- Coordinate with production managers and technicians to verify scope of repairs.
- Keep customers informed throughout the repair process and provide clear, timely updates.
- Review completed repairs for quality and accuracy, ensuring estimates align with work performed.
- Assist in coordinating parts orders and scheduling repair timelines.
- Maintain complete and accurate documentation in accordance with company and insurer standards.
- Uphold a clean, organized workspace and comply with all health and safety procedures.
**Who We're Looking For**:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in estimating or a similar role in the collision repair industry.
- Proficiency with collision estimating software (Audatex, Mitchell, CCC, or equivalent).
- Strong understanding of vehicle repair processes and insurance procedures.
- Exceptional communication and customer service skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Certification or training in collision estimating (an asset, but not required).
