**Job Summary**

**Responsibilities**
- Construct wooden frameworks for buildings, including walls, floors, and roofs.
- Read and interpret blueprints to determine specifications and layout.
- Operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently as needed.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools for cutting, shaping, and assembling materials.
- Perform heavy lifting tasks while adhering to safety protocols.
- Install siding, drywall, and other materials as required.
- Assist with concrete finishing tasks when necessary.
- Collaborate with other construction team members to ensure project timelines are met.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

**Qualifications**
- Proven experience as a Framer or Carpenter in the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of blueprint reading and building codes.
- Proficiency in operating heavy equipment related to framing tasks.
- Ability to lift heavy materials (up to 50 pounds) consistently throughout the workday.
- Familiarity with various hand tools and power tools used in framing.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

**All of the current jobs are located in the AB Red Deer area.**

If you are an experienced foreman, framer, framing lead we are looking for you TO be considered a Carpenter you have to be able to calculate and build stairs and read prints so you can lay out walls, floor trusses and roof trusses.

**We work year-round.**

Applicants must possess a valid drivers license, and must have a GST number as this is a Independant Contractor position.

Pay: $25.00-$50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 80 per week
