Primary responsibility is to ensure that all utensils, dishware, pots and pans and areas of the kitchen are cleaned properly and on a regular basis.

**DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Always start shift 10 minutes early to be updated on days’ work.
- Wash and put away all dishes, silverware, pots, and pans, etc.
- Ensure all pots and pans are grease free before putting them away.
- Ensure all tabletops and counters are wiped cleaned.
- All sinks are clean: pot sink, vegetable sink, dish machine sink, hand sink.
- Take all kitchen garbage to the garbage bin.
- Breakdown all cardboard boxes and take to recycling bin.
- Take all bottles & cans to recycling bin and sort into proper bins.
- Wash down all garbage cans and replace bags and take full bags to garbage room.
- Take full compost bins out to the recycling area and replace kitchen with empty ones.
- Dish machine washed down after its used and emptied glass racks be placed back on the dish machine for any left-over glasses being brought back into the kitchen.
- If you notice any food left out, please wrap and place in the walk-in refrigerator.
- Pick up all dirty rags, aprons from around the kitchen and put them in their proper laundry bag.
- Take a walk around to ensure all things mentioned in this list are done.
- All other duties as assigned by your manager. These duties may include food preparation, putting away of food items, and specialized cleaning.

Floor Cleaning Procedure
- Walk around the kitchen and pick everything up off the floor (i.e., garbage cans, grease bucket, racks, etc.)
- Sweep every area of the kitchen, under the equipment and tables,
- Fill mops bucket up with floor cleaning solution.
- Start in one section of the kitchen at a time. Using a wet mop, pre-soak the floor (under all tables and equipment). Rinse mop and wring dry and then mop ever the wet floor. Repeat until each section is dry. Sections include front of kitchen, the line, back of kitchen, dish area, receiving area.

- Good communication skills
- Able to speak and understand English.
- Must possess the ability to communicate effectively within a diverse team environment.

- Must be able to workdays, nights, weekends, special holidays.
- Must possess strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work and communicate effectively within a diverse team environment.

- Good organizational skills

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.55 per hour

Expected hours: 25 - 40 per week
