Comfort Keepers Peterborough, ON is seeking compassionate and reliable individuals to join our team in the role of House Cleaner and Companion in Peterborough, ON area. As a house cleaner, you can help improve the quality of life for seniors, enabling them to remain independent and safe in their home longer.

House cleaners on our team work directly with seniors and their families to ensure their home is safe, clean, and welcoming. In addition, you will also have opportunities for joy, friendship, and meaningful relationships and memories that will truly make a difference in the life of a senior.

**Responsibilities**:

- Meal preparation
- Light housekeeping
- Vacuuming, Dusting, Cleaning Bathrooms, Mopping, Sweeping, Cleaning Kitchens
- Laundry
- Closet and cupboard organization
- Tools and supplies provided
- Grocery shopping, running errands

**Job Requirements**:

- Must have open availability
- Genuinely concerned about helping people
- Access to a mobile phone (data enabled preferred) and internet
- Must have current Vulnerable Sector Police check (within past 6 months) or be willing to obtain one
- Current First Aid and CPR Training

Our office serves seniors in communities throughout the Peterborough, ON area.

**Salary**: $18.50 per hour

**Experience**:

- 1 year (preferred)
