The **Store Team Leader** assists Store Management with opening and closing of the store; leads the store team to achieve store sales budget while ensuring an excellent customer experience is provided at all times. They are fully responsible for all aspects of the store during their days in charge which includes accountability for both personal and store productivity results. The Store Team Leader will also assist store management with team leadership, recruitment and coaching.
**Job Duties**
- Assist the Store Management Team in delivering Company objectives and initiatives
- Meet or exceeds both personal and store sales budgets, daily, weekly and year to date
- Achieve key personal/store performance indicators
- Demonstrates and coaches store associates
- Ensures that the highest level of customer service is provided in the store by acting as a role model
- Promotes the Campaign Goals
- Process Customer purchases quickly and accurately at cash register
- Effectively coaches and provides feedback to all Store Associates on personal productivity measures
- Assists in managing contests, in-store promotions and outreach events
- Assist the Store Management team in recruitment of Sales Associates
- Leads Sales Associates to achieve sales budgets through positive motivation
- Plans and implements visual directions and layouts
- Ensures that store is neat, clean and well-presented
- Maintains visual presentation standards as per visual guidelines
- Prepares the store schedule, as required
- Performs other duties as assigned
**Requirements**:
- 1-2 years retail/customer service experience in a specialty store, preferably apparel with some exposure to team leadership
- Proven ability to attain or exceed sales goals (KPIs)
- Proven ability to inspire and motivate a team to reach its sales goals
- Passionate about fashion and proven ability to build outfits for customers
- Demonstrates initiative and works well with a productive team
- Proven ability to inspire, coach and motivate a team to reach its sales goals
- Flexible; able to work flexible hours to match business needs including evenings and weekends
- Ability to adapt to the needs of the customer and store team
- Builds relationships, trust and loyalty
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently with confidence
