**Pet Expert** **(Sales Associate)**

**Responsibilities**:

- Deliver exceptional customer service
- Ensure store cleanliness and merchandising standards are maintained at all times
- Provide informed and accurate advice/suggestions to customers and their pets
- Help ensure daily store sales goals are met
- Consistently improve and maintain product and animal care knowledge
- Diligently follow daily operations of store - opening and closing, operation of cash register, inventory tracking and reporting, etc.
- Effectively communicate and collaborate with team members and management

**Qualifications**:

- Flexible and reliable - available to work varying shifts, weekends and evenings included
- Exceptional customer service focus
- Desire to grow in the pet care industry
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to think critically and work independently or as a member of a small team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong desire to learn and constantly improve product and animal knowledge
- Previous customer service/retail experience an asset
- Motivated, reliable, and hard-working

This is a full-time or part-time position depending on experience, availability and performance. Wage dependent on experience and qualifications.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: From $17.20 per hour

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
