**Broad Function**:
The Asset Operations Manager is responsible for the effective management of Brock scaffold, equipment,through full life-cycle planning and management to include: forecasting, procurement, maintenance, repair, and disposal. This position will serve as one of the primary points of contact between Brock Operations and Asset Management with regard to asset related requirements. The Asset Operations Manager leads the growth and development of the respected business unit in which they are assigned through empowerment, process development, and training.

**Essential Functions**:

- Promote, demonstrate, and instill Brock’s Bsafe and Bbest culture in all aspects of the business
- Develop and implement life-cycle management strategies for scaffold, equipment, and vehicle fleets
- Regular assessment, mentoring, and development of personnel. Responsible for personnel development including skill level assessments, performance management and competency assessment for all functions within the associated organization.
- Manage and direct work through team of Managers/Supervisors with oversight responsibility for all corporate yards and personnel
- Responsible for alignment and standardization of the asset organization
- Active participant in the development and implementation of strategic initiatives for the Asset Management organization
- Participate in the development and maintenance of operating budget for scaffold, equipment, which includes capex and maintenance
- Assist in development of business justifications supporting capital investments and yearly capital budget
- Develop and maintain KPI and metric reporting for distribution to executive and regional leadership
- Lead special projects, ad-hoc reporting and analysis requests and perform other tasks as required
- Develop and support a “Bsafe” culture across corporate yards and warehouses
- Develop and implement inventory strategies to ensure asset accountability
- Collaborate with Procurement on vendor and supplier development and negotiations

**Working Conditions**:

- Working conditions include outdoor and indoor field, yard and shop locations
- Working indoors in an office environment
- Utilization of Personal Protective Equipment is necessary
- Frequent travel as required, approximately 25%
