Duties:
Supervise and coordinate the activities of production and packaging team members ensuring that production and packaging targets are met.
Train and develop production and packaging team members to enhance their skills and performance through development and feedback
Manage pet food production schedules to ensure production efficiencies standards for labour and raw materials inventory are achieved.
Adherence to SOPs for Quality standards, safety programs and HACCP
Develop, implement and monitor new systems and products to improve operational performance.
Development, implementation and monitoring of all maintenance, safety, sanitation and legislative requirements
Manage and accountable for production cost, labour utilization, waste, line efficiencies, raw material usages.
Supervise all plant activities
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Experience in food production
At least 5 years’ experience as a supervisor
Strong knowledge of HACCP, Food Safety standards and regulations, production processes, equipment and quality control
Excellent oral & written communication skills combined with strong organizational skills
Bachelor’s Degree (preferred)
Ability to analyze data and develop corrective or improvement actions to improve production efficiency.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
