To meet the needs of our clients, our team is supported by Control System Specialists at every level.

**WHAT YOU WOULD DO**
- Uphold safe work practices as per RidgeTech Automation’s safety policies and requirements
- Primarily responsible for the technical control system aspects of projects
- Manage client relationship and project scope under direction of Team Lead(s); communicating project schedule requirements
- Complete controls designs and electrical schematics; specifying hardware and components
- Develop PLC/HMI/SCADA programs; Set up VFD’s and Servo systems
- Teaching robot paths; setting up and verifying safety systems, with multiple manufacturers (ABB, Fanuc, Motoman, Nachi, Kuka, etc.)
- Commissioning and debugging support of panels at builder and client sites
- Troubleshooting electrical/mechanical and fluid power systems
- Collaborate and provide support to other Team Members

**WHAT YOU BRING**

**Required Qualifications**
- Post secondary education in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems or Robotics & Automation
- Applicable experience in the Controls and Automation Industry
- Senior Team Members have a minimum of 7 years of experience
- Intermediate Team Members typically have 3-7 years of experience
- Junior Team Members have 1-3 years of experience, including co-op placements
- Valid Drivers License & access to reliable transportation (to travel to local client sites and the Cambridge office) Valid Passport to allow for international travel without restrictions

**Required Skills**:

- Must have a positive attitude and be able to communicate well with both clients and team members
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Highly motivated and reliable team player
- Be able to work well independently, staying both efficient and motivated
- Have a strong willingness to learn and be a well-rounded team member
- Willingness to travel locally or abroad
- We strive to maintain a local workload, domestic and global travel may be required. The locations and length of travel will vary depending on the projects and workloads at any given time.
