**Lennox and Addington County General Hospital S.E.I.U Local 1, Canada - Paramedcial Technician II (Phlebotomist/CPS Technician) - Temp-Part-Time (Up to 9 Months) Vacancy**

**Area of Assignment**: Laboratory

**Hours of Work**: All Shifts.

**Pay Rate**:Will be in accordance with the Wage Scale of the S.E.I.U. Local 1 Canada, Paramedical Unit Collective Agreement, classification of Tech 2 - Phlebotomist.

**Qualifications**:
**Education**:

- Post-secondary education in a related field;
- Secondary School Graduation Diploma;
- Current B.C.L.S. certification.

**Experience**:

- Previous training and recent experience in phlebotomy.

**Required Skills**:

- Must meet qualifications of the Laboratory Specimen Collection Centre Licensing Act, R.S.O. 1990, Ontario Regulation 45/22;
- Demonstrated knowledge of phlebotomy;
- Computer literate and good keyboarding skills;
- Good organizational skills;
- Demonstrated ability to perform work accurately and efficiently;
- Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to work in a team environment;
- Ability to work with a minimum of supervision;
- Must have previous proven good performance and attendance record.
