**Description**:
As a Laboratory Assistant II, you will perform advanced preanalytical or analytical techniques on specimen/samples or coordinate, prioritize, monitor, and assign duties of laboratory staff in your assigned area. You will resolve escalated issues, conduct quality control investigations and maintain technical and operational procedures. You will be responsible for ensuring laboratory staff maintain compliance with policies and procedures and will provide coaching and feedback to staff and students.

**Required Qualifications**:
Completion of an accredited Medical Laboratory Assistant program.

**Additional Required Qualifications**:
Completion of Anatomy and Physiology, and Medical Terminology courses.

**Preferred Qualifications**:
Recent and relevant experience in Anatomic Pathology is preferred. Experience with DMO voice recognition software is and asset. Experience with EPIC-Beaker LIS is an asset.
