**Main Purpose and Function**

This position also leads SuccessFactors enhancements through the initial request, the preliminary investigation, analysis of requirements, business case and feasibility analysis, design, implementation, quality control, documentation, training and post-implementation phases.

The SAP SuccessFactors Business Analyst is also required to support other Technology Services systems.

**Specific Duties/Responsibilities**
- Works with stakeholders to analyze and documents requirements, determines feasibility of solutions and develops and maintains configurations and enhancements according to best practices.
- Researches, evaluates, documents and presents functionality from new releases that is relevant to stakeholders including universal updates, opt-ins and sunsetted features
- Participates in and coordinates testing for SuccessFactors releases including maintaining test scripts
- Identifies opportunities to enhance current SuccessFactors modules to increase efficiency and optimize processes throughout the city
- Creates and maintains robust and exhaustive documentation of system administration standard operating procedures, job aids, technical standards and issue resolution procedures
- Acts in the capacity of the SuccessFactors SME when implementing new SuccessFactors modules for CoV, including analyzing and migrating data, advising on configuration decisions, performing testing, creating test scripts and co-ordinating testing for end users
- Represents CoV in SuccessFactors implementations as a SME to ensure that any changes to universal configurations don’t impact current or future CoV business processes and ensure any agreed upon changes are socialized to City stakeholders
- Audits end user permissions to ensure access is restricted to employees based on their current job roles
- Acts as an escalation point for end user issues across the city
- Troubleshoots issues within SuccessFactors and implement solutions that comply to CoV policies and SuccessFactors best practices
- Manages and fulfills backlog requests for enhancements and configuration changes according to business priority, coordinating testing from business owners where necessary
- Trains and supports Admins including creating job aids, work processes and communications
- Establishes and applies a governance structure for the access and maintenance of content, data and configurations
- Creates and maintains KPIs, automated reports, ad hoc reports and dashboards to drive accountability to business groups
- Responds to data requests and analysis for collective bargaining and other human resources projects and programs
- Creates and updates Privacy Impact Assessments for new initiatives related to personal and private data
- Manages purges of historical data in accordance with retention schedules
- Other duties/responsibilities as assigned

**Minimum Qualification Requirements**

Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or Human Resources and five years’ experience in SAP SuccessFactors administration and implementation or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

- Familiarity with HR processes including employee transactions, recruitment, onboarding, off-boarding, learning management and compensation
- Proven experience with the design, development, configuration and implementation of key business processes within SuccessFactors based on SAP best practices and aligned with business requirements.
- Understanding of SAP HCM is an asset
- Experience with Agile development methodology is an asset
- SAP SuccessFactors certifications are a definite asset
- Hands on configuration experience of relevant SuccessFactors modules such as RCM (Requisition Templates, Requisition Route/Approval Workflows, Picklists), ONB (Forms, Notifications, Picklists, Process Flows, New Employee Portal, EC (Foundation Object, Rules, Transactions - Event Reasons, Alerts, Notifications, Workflows), etc.
