**Overview**

**Duties**
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that encourage creativity, exploration, and learning.
- Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment for all children, including those with disabilities.
- Educate children on basic academic concepts while promoting social skills and emotional intelligence.
- Utilize effective time management skills to balance lesson planning, classroom activities, and administrative tasks.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns that may arise.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and development.
- Collaborate with other educators to enhance the overall educational experience for students.
- Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in early childhood education.

**Requirements**:

- Experience working with children in an educational setting is preferred.
- A degree or certification in Early Childhood Education or a related field is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills in English; proficiency in French is a plus.
- Ability to work effectively with children of diverse backgrounds and abilities.
- Familiarity with computerized record-keeping systems is beneficial.
- Excellent time management skills to ensure effective classroom management and lesson delivery.
- A genuine passion for educating young children and supporting their developmental needs.

Pay: $22.00-$28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
