In March of 2024, Board.org joined with Executive Platforms. Board.org's peer-to-peer platform hosts confidential, professionally facilitated communities that allow C-suite and senior executives to benefit from each other's expertise and experience. As today's leaders are forced to navigate an ever-growing list of challenges, from talent retention to digital transformation, they can leverage insights from a broad range of Board.org's communities - including the ESG & CSR Board, Enterprise Data Strategy Board, and Talent Marketing Board - to make informed strategic decisions.
**Job Overview**:
**Objectives of this role**:
- Develop and implement effective strategies to attract diverse, qualified talent.
- Partner with hiring managers to understand hiring needs and meet competitive hiring goals.
- Assist in creating and refining recruiting and onboarding procedures.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Manage all phases of the recruitment process, including job posting, sourcing, screening, interviewing, and extending offers for roles across the U.S. and Canada.
- Work with hiring managers to define job requirements, draft accurate job descriptions, and create recruiting materials.
- Ensure recruitment and onboarding comply with U.S. and Canadian labor laws.
- Oversee interview process, including developing and updated all interview materials.
- Manage offer process, including preparing offer letters and completing pre-employment checks.
- Assist in the onboarding process, working with HR team to ensure smooth onboarding experience.
**Key Qualifications**:
- Experience as a Recruiter for a minimum of 2 years is required.
- Advanced knowledge of ADP and ability to learn new technical systems, when necessary.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ethics, and cultural awareness.
- Aptitude for problem-solving and knowledge of HR procedures and policies.
- Resourceful mindset and strong attention to detail.
- Knowledge of national laws and regulations related to recruiting.
- Knowledge of U.S. and Canadian labor laws preferred.
**Things to Discuss Further During the Interview**
- Our company offers above the normal starting vacation and observes Canadian and US holidays.
- Our company is working on a hybrid model with some days in the office and some days at home.
Pay: $60,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
