**Job description**
Seeking seasonal **Industrial Tank Cleaning/Vessel Entry local to Alberta.**
This position will consist of performing the critical task of confined space entering, cleaning, and maintenance of industrial tanks and vessels at various job sites throughout Western Canada. Main duties include performing physical labor, including preparation for customer site by cleaning, loading, and unloading of equipment and materials, and removing hazardous waste. Work performed will include high pressure cleaning and power washing in confined spaces as required, utilizing hand tools, small equipment repairs and disassembly of tank hardware. These duties will require regular use of specialized PPE including respiratory protection and chemical suits during confined space entry.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Performing confined space work in industrial tanks and vessels
- Following safe workplace policies, procedures and safe work practices
- Performing work with the use of respiratory protection, not limited to SCBA, supplied breathing air and air-purifying full-face respirator.
- Preparation for installation of equipment includes fueling of equipment, power washing, utilizing hand tools, pressure wash wands, and completing small equipment repairs.
- Assist in the loading and unloading of materials and equipment, as necessary on the jobsite.
- Perform installation and tear down of tank cleaning and fluid transfer equipment including, but not limited to, assembly and disassembly of piping, hoses, pumps, heat exchangers.
**What we need from you?**
- 3+ years of proven vessel entry experience (preferred)
- H2S Alive (Energy Safety Canada)
- Common Safety Orientation (CSO)
- Confined Space Entry & Monitor (Energy Safety Canada)
- Fall Protection (Energy Safety Canada)
- Intermediate First Aid Level C
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
- Ability to stand, sit, crouch and kneel for extended periods of time
- Ability to enter confined spaces wearing masks and respirators
- Analytical and reasoning capabilities, use of good judgement and decision making
- Ability to pass company and client drug and alcohol testing protocol
We assist with obtaining pre-requisite industry certificates.
**Job Type**: Seasonal
Pay: $26.00-$37.00 per hour
Expected hours: 70 - 84 per week
