**Job description**

Powerhouse Retail Services is a homegrown Canadian 3PL warehousing and fulfillment company located in the Heartland District of Mississauga. We are looking for an enthusiastic and positive individual to join our team in our warehouse division as an **RF Scanner.**

This is a **Full-time **opportunity for an immediate start. Hours will vary Monday to Friday between **7:30 AM - 4: 30 PM** with occasional weekends and overtime as required. Successful applicants must be ably available for occasional overtime and weekends.

**Working Environment**:

- Warehouse environment
- Concrete floor warehouse environment (non-production)
- Lifting of boxes, lightweight 20-30 pounds

**Daily Activities Include**:

- Picking and packing products for shipment
- RF scanning tickets for shipments
- Preparing and completing orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, ship)
- Receive and process warehouse stock products (pick, unload, label, store)
- Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization
- Report any inventory discrepancies
- Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers
- Support and maintain corporate quality, health and safety standards, processes, policies, practices and work instructions. (ISO standards where applicable)
- All other duties as assigned

**Skills and experience**:

- 6 months to 1-year Warehouse experience preferred
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Basic math and reading skills
- Must be able to read and understand written and verbal instructions
- Ability to pay attention to detail
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to lift/move up to 40 pounds solo and greater weights in a team-lift environment
- Physical requirements include: lifting, carrying, bending, stretching, and standing for long periods of time
