We are currently recruiting for an** Accounts Payable Associate,** to join our growing team in Whitby. ATX Networks offers an outstanding work environment and competitive compensation package.

Reporting directly to the Senior Accounting Manager, the Accounts Payable Associate will be responsible for coordinating, reviewing, processing, file maintenance and reporting of general payables of ATX Networks.

**RESPONSIBLITIES**:

- Coordination, review and processing of full cycle accounts payables;
- Ensure accounts payable duties of department are performed with accuracy and on a timely basis;
- Performing three way matching, coding, and processing approved invoices;
- Reviewing expense reports for backups and approval and posting them in the system;
- Downloading Fedex invoices via online access, seeking their approval and entering them in the system;
- Preparation of payment listing for approval by supervisor and subsequent printing/preparing of checks/EFT/ACH files on each check run and attaching backup/invoices for each check/electronic payment;
- Correspond with vendors as needed to resolve payment discrepancies;
- Reviewing vendors’ statement of accounts for any un-entered invoices.
- Maintenance of open and closed accounts payable files;
- Reconciliation and analysis of deposits with vendors;
- Provide excellent customer service to all levels of the organization.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:
The following criteria are the minimum qualifications required for this position
- College Diploma, combined with a minimum of three (3) years experience in a similar role, or an equivalent combination of education and experience;
- Working knowledge of accounting software;
- Good communication skills both oral and written;
- Excellent organizational, time management, analytical and follow-up skills;
