The team at Urban Balance Wellness is looking for caring, passionate, and dedicated professionals to join our growing team on Vancouver's Northshore. We are currently seeking registered counsellors and social workers interested in working within a collaborative, professional atmosphere and invested in supporting clients from an accepting, culturally-sensitive, and trauma-informed perspective.

**About us**

Urban Balance Wellness is a multidisciplinary team of mental health practitioners who are passionate about meeting our clients where they are on their wellness journey and supporting them to be their best selves. Our approach is strengths-based and holistic, addressing individual, familial, social, cultural, psychological, and neurobiological aspects that intersect and influence wellbeing. We believe that empowerment and resilience are fostered through connection, acceptance, and support, and provide services for adults, youth, children, families, and couples who are working through challenges including stress, life transition/balance, relationship struggles, emotional regulation, depression, anxiety, loss, illness, trauma, and substance-use difficulties.

**The Job**

Available shifts include Monday through Sunday. Shifts of 4-8 hours from 9 am - 9 pm.

**Qualifications**
- Masters degree in counselling, social work, or related field.
- Registration with BCACC, CCPA, or BCCSW (RCC, CCC, or RCSW).
- Trained and work from a culturally-sensitive and trauma-informed perspective.
- Couples and family training and experience.
- Comfort with delivering therapy both in-person and virtually.
- Participation in ongoing professional development.
- Ability to reliably commute (or relocate) to North Vancouver.
- EMDR training an asset.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent, Fixed term contract

Pay: $80.00-$125.00 per hour

Expected hours: 4 - 20 per week
