The open-pit gold mine is a joint venture between IAMGOLD and Sumitomo Metal Mining Co. Ltd. and is operated by IAMGOLD. We are located near Gogama, Ontario, with access to stable infrastructure and strong connections with our local communities.

**Site Access Coordinator**

**Key Responsibilities**

Area 1:
Coordinate site access process for Cote Gold New Hires and new Contractors by:

- Greeting and providing direction to new employees and contractors upon arrival at the West Gate.
- Confirming all required documentation, including Site Orientation, Driving Privileges, and identification are completed before site access is granted.
- Provide guidance and advice on site rules, policies, and expectations including PPE requirements, traffic and radio policies.
- Develop and maintain a standardized onboarding checklist to ensure Contractor Site Access and Orientation processes, including:

- Site access approvals
- Contractor HSE checklist
- Kick-off meetings
- Pre-mobilization checklists
- Mobile equipment mobilization checklist
- Subcontractor declaration forms
- Work closely with contractors to ensure all required documents are completed and reviewed before access is granted to the site.
- Continuously improve site access procedures and recommend enhancements to increase efficiency and compliance.
- Provide administrative support and documentation related to site access, including data entry, reporting, and system maintenance.

Area 2:
Greet and provide direction to new employees by:

- Working closely with HR and New Hire Department representative to confirm schedule of new hire arrivals.
- Welcoming employee/s to the Cote Gold Team upon their arrival at PCC.
- Conducting a tour of the PCC facilities, validating room reservation, confirming bus schedule from PCC to reporting location, confirming employee has contact information for their Supervisor, and is aware of where they are to report in the morning.

Area 3:
Coordinate and when required lead tours for external visitors and stakeholders.
- Ensure all visitors are briefed on safety protocols by delivering the Site Safety Orientation for Visitors and provided with necessary personal protective equipment.
- Act as a liaison between departments to facilitate smooth access and movement within the site.
- In working with responsible Cote Gold department, ensure all activities are planned and scheduled including meals, accommodations if required and transportation.

Qualifications

**Minimum Requirements and Nice To Haves**

- College Diploma in a related field
- Project Management

Work experience - Nature & Length
- 8+ years of related work experience in an industrial work environment.
- Previous experience in a remote camp setting.

Additional qualifications - Competency requirements
- Strong Health and Safety acumen. Demonstrated safety leadership.
- Strong interpersonal, written, verbal communication skills.
- Well organized, works well independently and in team settings, possesses good time-management skills, and can work effectively under pressure.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Valid Driver’s license and ability to travel within the mine site as required.
