- JOB DESCRIPTION: _**Controls Technician**_

TITLE**:Controls Technician** DATE: 8th Oct, 2024

This position primarly includes the commissioning and startup of Honeywell control systems across Ontario. Tridium N4 Certification is required. This position reports to the Operations Manager.
- EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:_
- Certified Engineering Technologist or equivalent in a Building Automation / DDC program
- SKILLS REQUIRED: _
- PC/Computer literate - with CAD and M/S Office;
- Knowledge of Commercial HVAC Systems and associated equipment
- MINIMUM of 3 Years experience in Building Automation / Lab Control Systems
- Knowledge of BacNet, LonWorks & Tridum Based networking controllers is an advantage
- OTHER REQUIREMENTS:_
- travel required (in Southern Ontario), Company Van will be provided
- excellent communication skills
- obtain Supplier Certification

SITE WORK:

- Service and repair existing installations as required
- Prepare service reports in a timely manner and interact professionally with customers
- Coordinate customer billings with the accounting department
- Review installation of control wiring and equipment as per shop drawings on new projects
- Commission control system using laptop to meet project requirements
- Complete commissioning reports and assist with prepration of as-built drawings

Related Functions:

- act as liaison between customer and operations to ensure successful completion of various projects
- provide project information to applicable departments
- Prepare shop drawings for new projects and assist with Project Coordination as instructed by the Senior Project Manager.

Operations Support:

- source and purchase material/components as required for systems or projects, and generate applicable documentation
- assist with various Operations activities, including shipping/receiving, facilities, expediting

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $65,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
