We are a small, family-run business with a passion for great food and community. As we head into a busy food truck season, we're looking for a dependable, hardworking **Food Truck Cook** to join our mobile culinary team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys working with people, and is ready to hit the road with great food.

**Job Summary**:
As a Food Truck Cook, you'll be responsible for preparing, cooking, and serving menu items in a compact, high-energy kitchen on wheels. You'll ensure food is made to standard, maintain a clean and organized space, and support smooth day-to-day truck operations.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Prepare and cook food items to order following standardized recipes.
- Perform prep duties including chopping, slicing, and portioning using strong knife skills.
- Operate in a tight kitchen space while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization.
- Set up, stock, and break down the food truck for daily service.
- Maintain food safety and sanitation standards at all times.
- Monitor food quality and communicate any issues to the team or kitchen lead.
- Interact professionally with customers when needed, providing excellent service.
- Assist in loading/unloading supplies and securing equipment for travel.
- Follow opening and closing procedures for the food truck.

**Qualifications**:

- 1-2 years of cooking experience, preferably in a fast-paced or mobile kitchen environment.
- Strong knife skills and knowledge of safe food handling procedures.
- Ability to multitask, work efficiently under pressure, and adapt quickly to changing conditions.
- Physically capable of lifting 50 lbs, standing for long periods, and working in tight spaces.
- Willingness to travel to various locations and work outdoors in different weather conditions.
- Flexible schedule, including availability on weekends and evenings.
- Valid Food Handler's Certificate (or willingness to obtain).
- Must be a team player with a positive attitude and good communication skills.

**Bonus Qualifications**:

- Previous food truck, festival, or catering experience.
- Food Truck experience and able to drive a commercial truck is an asset.
