**Job Summary**:
Under the direction of the full-time Procurement Agent, and under the general supervision of the CFO, the Stores Clerk maintains stock/inventory (for specific units) and prepares instruments to be sent for sterilization.

**Requirements**:

- Grade 12 education or equivalent and ability to do basic mathematics.
- Must have a strong working knowledge of computers (MS Office software and Great Plains Dynamics).
- Previous experience with record keeping and documentation.
- Capable of meeting the physical demands of the position.
- Knowledgeable re: WHMIS, Hazardous Goods, Occupational Health & Safety, Infection Control, Disaster and Fire Plans.
- General knowledge and understanding of the hospital’s operations, departments, policies, and regulations and procedures that govern the hospital activities.
- Familiarity with common inventory items for Medical/Surgical, Housekeeping, Laboratory, and Physiotherapy usage in a hospital environment.
- Must be organized and excellent at time management.
