The Land Analyst prepares, issues, tracks and inputs documents related to large scale land acquisition projects.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Support day to day office activities and order supplies for land administration team
- Support the land administration team with all landowner payments
- Support preparation of all documents needed for the acquisition of real estate rights for the construction, reconstruction, enlargement, or maintenance of transmission and/or distribution facilities including easements, deeds, leases, licenses, permits, damage agreements, right of entry agreements, option agreements, contracts, and other documents as required.
- Support on due diligence and handle in office hard copy land acquisition documents
- Initiates and tracks agreement milestones, contractual obligations, and deadlines
- Supports completion of land ownership and Rights, Title, and Interest research

Perform other duties as required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Post secondary education or equivalent experience in Land Administration or Land Acquisition
- Experience with in office document management considered an asset
- Exceptional communication (written and verbal) skills and a committed team player
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products - Word and Excel
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Works well under pressure and meeting deadlines
- Able to organize and set priorities, handling multiple tasks in a fast paced and changing environment
- Able to problem solve and proactively identify timeline/ deliverable challenges.
