**Full Job Description**
Warehouse in Richmond Hill is looking for an experienced Shipper/Receiver that will be responsible for all incoming and outgoing product shipments, assist with order picking, inventory management, and customer/supplier/shipping inquiries when required. The role will work closely with various stakeholders within the organization on raw material and shipment-related matters. You will be responsible for ensuring accuracy and conformity to purchase orders for incoming products, unloading trucks and dealing with deliveries. The role will also include accurately picking orders according to customer needs as well as organizing all aspects of outgoing shipments, making shipping labels and documents, dealing with carriers, and loading trucks.

**Responsibilities include**:

- Receive and inspect incoming goods, following established procedures and protocols to ensure conformance to purchase order quantities, descriptions, and instructions
- Report, record and/or reject any discrepancies or damages
- Prepare bills of lading, packing slips, and other shipping documents for outgoing shipments
- Safely operate forklift to load and unload freight from carriers and move stock throughout the warehouse
- Plan the receiving schedules, and unload trucks
- Schedule outgoing freight and load trucks
- Ensure that all products are handled, moved, and stored in a safe manner and into their correct locations
- Follow verbal and written directions, interpret schedules, shipping documents, and item descriptions to ensure accurate shipments and deliveries
- Handle inventory location maintenance - maintain and create locations as needed and ensure raw material and finished good are stored correctly
- Monitor inventory levels, pick and stage orders
- Print purchase and sales order paperwork as required, updating when necessary to meet customer needs
- Receive raw material, record, label and code it to the correct location
- Stage raw material according to schedule provided
- Practice good housekeeping, maintenance and cleaning of the machines as well as the surrounding area.
- Work safely, report dangerous conditions, and any hazards.
- Use a computer, scanner and technology to record orders picked, shipped, received, stored and scheduled
- Other duties as assigned

**Skills and Experience**:

- Excellent and effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent computer skills including knowledge of MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel). Experience with ERP software and Sage/Simply Accounting is an asset, training is available.
- Strong writing and comprehension skills including entering information on forms, packing slips and shipping/receiving documents
- Ability to perform accurate counts
- Effective organization, problem-solving and time-management skills
- Must have excellent attention to detail
- Must be able to work on your own as well as be a team player with multi-tasking abilities
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Ability to stand for long periods of time. Ability to make repetitive movements, such as using a keyboard, bending, lifting or squatting.
- Regular exposure to production noise (air compressor, grinding, hammering, moving vehicles, machinery, etc)
- Must have safety boots

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $22.00-$25.00 per hour
