Have some Not-So-Serious fun with us **Ringette Timekeeper**: Ongoing **Objectives** Objectives of the Ringette Timekeeper is to keep accurate time and stats of tournament hockey games. **Roles and Responsibilities** - Able to travel to various arenas in the Greater Ottawa Area to maintain accurate game time while recording points and penalties - Managing a 30-second shot clock simultaneously - Constant awareness of game status - Potentially timing hockey games when needed (training provided) - Other tasks upon request **Required Attributes** - Passion and In-depth knowledge of the game of ringette is a requirement - Working knowledge of Google Drive - Level C First Aid & CPR is a requirement - Good feel for industry culture - Demonstrate tact in responding to client feedback - Strong team player with ability to work independently - Willingness to learn - Reliable transportation is a requirement - Excellent oral and verbal communication skills - Mastery of English is a requirement; French will be considered an asset - A police record check may be required for minor hockey games **Why 288 Sports Ottawa?** - Fantastic side gig of your favourite sport - Networking opportunities - Relaxed atmosphere, company culture of not taking anything too seriously - Boss won't patronize you by lying about "family," and actually treat you like a number - Slave-driving but with _ringette_ COMPENSATION: $20 to $36 per game Work remotely - No **Job Types**: Part-time, Casual, Seasonal, Freelance Contract length: 10 months Part-time hours: 3-4 per week **Salary**: From $20.00 per hour **Benefits**: - Casual dress - Company events - On-site parking Schedule: - Every Weekend - Weekends as needed COVID-19 considerations: All staff must be double-vaccinated.
