**Location**: North Vancouver
Are you a seasoned professional with a strong background in project controls for heavy construction projects? Vancouver Pile Driving Ltd. is seeking a Project Controls Lead to join our dynamic team and oversee project controls matters in collaboration with our Project Manager.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Converting Proposal Estimates into Project Budgets
- Monitoring Daily and Weekly Reporting
- Participating in Change Management
- Maintaining Project Risk Registers
- Ensuring Compliance with Project History Records
- Setting up Project WBS, Cost Codes, and Baseline Budget
- Enforcing Project Controls Policies
- Updating Project Cash Flows
- Analyzing Variances and Providing Forecasts
- Reviewing Project Contracts for Compliance
- Supporting Change Management
- Advising on Project Controls Strategy
- Training and Developing Project Staff
- Inputting to Estimating Department during Bid Phases
- Collaborating with Contracts Specialist

**Qualifications / Requirements**:

- Minimum 5 years of Project Controls experience
- Proven success in Project Controls on fixed-price contracts
- Knowledge of scheduling software (Microsoft Project, P6)
- Engineering / Accounting Degree or equivalent
- Solid understanding of cost, schedule, change, and risk management
- Experience in claims substantiation on complex projects
- Ability to develop accurate Project Control systems
- Proficient in generating internal and external reports
