**About the role**

As a Security Concierge, you’ll be the first point of contact and a key presence in creating a safe, welcoming, and professional environment for residents, visitors, and contractors. This dynamic role blends customer service with security, requiring you to proactively patrol the premises, respond to incidents and emergencies, and provide helpful support to everyone who walks through the door. You’ll be responsible for offering exceptional customer service to tenants, de-escalating tense situations, and ensuring daily operations run smoothly.

**Hourly Rate**: $18.00/per hour.

**What you’ll be doing**
- **Customer Service**: Provide exceptional service and maintain positive relationships with residents, contractors, and visitors. Ensure a welcoming environment by greeting each person in the lobby and assisting with their inquiries or needs.
- **Proactive Patrols**: Conduct regular patrols of the premises, ensuring the safety and security of the property and its occupants. Address any policy breaches, safety hazards, or suspicious activity, and report concerns to the Site Manager.
- **Emergency Response**: Respond promptly and professionally to security alarms, emergencies, or distress calls. Investigate and manage situations, liaise with emergency services such as police, fire, and paramedics, and ensure the safety of all involved.
- **Crisis De-escalation**: Handle difficult or confrontational situations with professionalism and composure. Use conflict resolution skills to de-escalate crises and ensure a calm, secure environment.
- **Crowd Control and Trespasser Management**: Monitor and manage large groups of people during busy times, ensuring crowd control is maintained. Evict trespassers when necessary and ensure the building’s policies are followed.
- **Incident Reporting**: Write detailed and accurate reports on incidents, emergencies, and daily activities, including but not limited to security breaches, policy violations, lost & found items, and other events that occur on-site.
- **Lost & Found Management**: Handle all lost and found items, documenting them appropriately, and working with residents to return lost items as needed.
- **Parking Inquiries**: Assist with parking-related questions, direct vehicles to appropriate areas, and address any parking violations or concerns.
- **Tenant & Visitor Interaction**: Act as a point of contact for tenant inquiries, including answering questions and directing visitors. Ensure security protocols are followed when permitting access to the building, including allowing courier drivers to deliver parcels.
- **Noise Complaints**: Investigate noise complaints from residents, professionally engaging with the offending parties, and asking them to reduce noise levels when necessary.
- **Other Duties**: Perform additional concierge-related duties as needed, assisting tenants with requests such as directions, or other general inquiries. Maintain up-to-date information about local services, transportation, restaurants, and entertainment for resident reference.

**What we’re looking for**
- Familiarity with security procedures and emergency protocols. Previous experience in security or safety roles is preferred.
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office 365
- Must be able to stand, walk, or patrol the property for extended periods and handle physical tasks related to security duties (e.g., crowd control).
- Comfortable using basic technology, such as security systems, radio communication, and computers for report writing
- Previous experience in security, concierge, or customer service roles preferred.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays.
