**Position Summary**

The Room Attendant is responsible for maintaining a high level of cleanliness in guest rooms and common areas in a timely and thorough manner to ensure guest satisfaction.

**Key Responsibilities**

Arrive on time, ready to work and wearing the proper uniform. Maintain uniform and grooming standards of cleanliness/tidiness and follow all safety procedures. Perform tasks as directed by Executive Housekeeper and/or Assistant Housekeepers daily.

Have the ability to meet physical demands including; bending, pulling, lifting and stairs. Be responsible for working all scheduled shifts.

Clean all guest rooms to the Executive Hotel standards. Possess good communication skills and work well both independently or as a team.

**Education Qualifications and Experience**

Knowledge of chemical cleaning agents (WHMIS)

Ability to push and/or pull equipment and carry supplies

Available to work weekends, holidays and be flexible to the work schedule

Ability to scrub and scour surfaces, extending arms overhead to perform cleaning tasks

Be able to carry guest supplies up and down stairs

High level of enthusiasm and a team player

Sound practical judgment in decision making

**Job Types**: Part-time, Full-time

**Salary**: From $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 - 40 per week
