As a Plant Enthusiast at Wilson's Lifestyle Centre, you will play a crucial role in providing outstanding customer service and sharing your extensive knowledge of tropical plants, annuals, and perennials. Your responsibilities will include assisting customers, maintaining plant displays, and ensuring the overall cleanliness and organization of the annuals and perennials department.

**Responsibilities**
- Provide assistance and expert knowledge to customers
- Evaluate individual plant needs for light, water, fertilizer, and pruning
- Organize and maintain cleanliness in the annuals and perennials department
- Administer water in appropriate amounts and clean foliage
- Receive shipments of plants, tag them, and display them on the sales floor
- Offer excellent customer service to enhance the shopping experience
- Keep pottery stocked and well-organized
- Use proper precautions to limit the spread of diseases and pests
- Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to ensure a secure and healthy work environment

**Requirements**:

- Meet physical demands, including lifting up to 40 pounds, walking, standing for extended periods, climbing ladders, kneeling, and crouching
- Possess good time management and organization skills
- Maintain a flexible schedule, including days, evenings and weekends
- Identify plants by common and scientific names
- Demonstrate excellent knowledge of tropical plants, annuals, and perennials
- Collaborate effectively as a team player
- Additional responsibilities as delegated

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

**Salary**: $14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
