**ABOUT INFRA PIPE SOLUTIONS LTD.**

We are currently looking for a Maintenance Technician to work in our **Huntsville, Ontario** location Maintenance Department. (This is **NOT** an apprentice position, however there may be future apprenticeship opportunities).

**Job Description Summary**: This role has responsibility for ensuring that all plant equipment & facilities are maintained in good working order through inspection, monitoring & established maintenance routines. This position will also have Die Changer responsibilities.

**MAIN TASKS ARE**:
Ø Assist the certified trades people in the maintenance department, rebuild and service of production machinery and systems in the plant facility to ensure trouble free operation,

Ø Conduct tooling and machine changeovers, ensuring that all tooling changes and flange changes are accomplished in a timely, and efficient manner,

Ø Organizing and clean out of all tooling (1/2” - 63”), as well as proper storage of tooling and equipment,

Ø Installation of winders, extruders, saws, rollers, tips, carts as it pertains to production line set up,

Ø Installing the winders, vacuum tanks, and haul-offs for product mix,

Ø Inspection and the maintaining of the tooling in proper condition. Report any repairs or damage to the maintenance crew leader,

Ø Actively participate in all Health & Safety training and promote a safe work environment,

Ø Participate in all LEAN and 5-S activities as it pertains to the position and job location,

Ø Conduct all work according to established Uponor procedures, policies and standards,

Ø Other duties/tasks as determined by the manager.

**WE REQUIRE**:
Ø 3+ years’ previous related experience in a manufacturing environment, or an equivalent combination of experience, education and training that demonstrates the ability to perform the key responsibilities of the position,

Ø Strong mechanical aptitude, with good problem solving and decision-making skills,

Ø Strong interpersonal, organizational and time management skills enabling multi-tasking, prioritizing work and exercising initiative to ensure an efficient and quality level of service,

Ø Attention to detail and accuracy,

Ø Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision (self-starter), and as part of the team,

Ø The ability to develop strong and effective working relationships at all levels of the organization,

Ø Previous experience with 5-S and Lean Manufacturing,

Ø Experience utilizing a fully integrated ERP system an asset,

Ø Flexibility to work in other departments at the Huntsville location as needed by plant management.

**Salary**: $25.00-$28.00 per hour

**Education**:

- AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Maintenance: 1 year (preferred)
