**Job description**:
Under general supervision, plasma operator operates, shear, plasma table machines to produce quality parts. Requires a working knowledge of various processes and operations to meet production requirements. Full time work shift 8am to 4:30 PM with occasional overtime.

**Qualifications**:
Plasma Operator: 1+ year

Operates CNC Messer Plasma Table, Band Saw, drill presses; with Some 2 person operations.

1. Safely load/unload sheets and plates

2. Make/load part programs and operate plasma machine

3. Ensure cut quality and quantity of parts

4. Read blueprints and ensure part packages are complete

5. Conduct proper maintenance of plasma table and consumables

6. Troubleshoot cut parts quality issues

7. Work in a team to deliver completed part packages to production

8. Assist team members with occasional press brake forming

9. Ability to lift up-to 50 lb

10. Ability to stand for long hours

11. Punctual and trainable

12. Adhere to company safety policy

**Knowledge/Skills/Abilities**:

- Ability to receive verbal or written instructions that pertain to daily tasks
- Ability to listen and take direction
- Ability to learn quickly
- Demonstrate good hand and eye coordination
- Can safely lift 50 pounds and stand for up to 8 hours
- Able to work overtime as needed

**Education & Training/Experience**:

- High school diploma or equivalent

**Salary**: $18.00-$21.00 per hour
