**Who We Are**
- TransEd Valley Line LRT is the first piece of the Valley Line project in Edmonton. Connecting Millwoods to downtown Edmonton, the Valley Line allows commuters to go from the South East of Edmonton to any where the LRT stops._

**A typical day for the Facilities Maintenance Supervisor**
- Supervise maintenance teams and contractors, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
- Oversee rail safety, security, and operational integrity at stations and depots.
- Oversee preventative, corrective, and emergency maintenance across power distribution, water systems, HVAC, building and all other assets across the South Valley LRT rail network.
- Oversee the warehouse operation.
- Develop and execute contingency and emergency response plans.
- Monitor asset performance, driving improvements through capital maintenance programs.
- Manage budgets, expenditures, and financial performance.
- Handle HR functions, including staffing, training, and performance management.
- Liaise with stakeholders, ensuring operational alignment and efficiency.
- Any other function as assigned by the Management group.
- Ability to work with varying shift patterns.

**Skills and Qualifications**
- Degree or diploma in Facility Maintenance or a related field.
- Professional accreditation in Asset Management, Maintenance Management, or Reliability Management is an asset.
- Minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience, preferably in railroad facility maintenance and contractor management.
- Familiarity with corporate HR practices and employee relations.
- Valid Alberta Class 5 driver’s license (Class 3 or Class 1 is an asset along with loader, skid steer, tool cat experience)
- Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental management processes.
- Advanced communication, planning, and technical reporting skills.
- Expertise in Building/Maintenance Facility operations and associated costs.
- Experience with O&M Standards such as APTA or Transport Canada railways.
- Strong problem-solving ability with a “big picture” perspective.
- Ability to influence stakeholders at higher levels.
- Proficiency in Maximo and Agility software is an asset.
