With 4 successful campuses across Canada, Automotive Training Centres offers full and part-time programs on campus, plus online programs through our e-learning division. Over the years, new industry-validated automotive programs have been added in response to the growing demand for well-qualified auto professionals.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS:
You are a strong communicator, experienced Auto Detailer with over 5 years of experience and available for 3 weekends, 9:00 am to 4:00 pm, when the course is offered a few times during the year.
The instructor would be proficient in teaching the following topics:
- Introduction To P.A.D - “Safety First” In The Workplace, Tool, Equipment, And Product Orientation, Vehicle Prep For Customer Delivery.
- Exterior Preparation - Engine And Compartment, Undercarriage And Wheel Well, Metal Brightening, Exterior Moulding And Rubber Conditioning, Paint Buffing.
- Interior Reconditioning - Interior Panel Surface Prep And Detail, Interior Carpet And Upholstery Prep And Extraction.
- Vehicle Paint Surface Repair And Reconditioning - Paint Surfaces, Polishing Equipment, Paint Reconditioning Material Applications & Advanced Cut Polishing Methods, Surface Scratch & Oxidized Surface Repair, Wet Sanding Techniques, Plastics Reconditioning.
- Workplace Prep - Working As A Detailer in an Auto Dealership, Detailing Shop or As An Owner Operator.
