- Develop business opportunities within their territory
- Collaborate in setting sales objectives for their region
- Bring forth original ideas and actively contribute to the development of sales strategies
- Adequately assess client potential, meet with them, and evaluate their needs
- Prepare and conduct technical presentations for clients (engineers and contractors)
- Prepare and review bids, as necessary
- Follow up with clients on various matters (submitted bids, project commencement, overall satisfaction)
- Inform clients about new products and comprehensive service offerings
- Ensure project profitability
- Document actions taken with clients and keep information up-to-date to CRM
- Ensure up-to-date knowledge of product technological advancements
- Participate in trade shows and follow up on leads obtained

**Key Experiences and Qualifications We Are Looking For**:

- Relevant college and/or university education
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Valid driver's license
- 5 years of relevant sales experience, ideally in the HVAC, energy or construction industry
- Knowledge of the building industry (an asset)
- Interpersonal skills and customer satisfaction-oriented attitude
- Strong negotiator
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Leadership, autonomy, and initiative
- Good prioritization skills
- Rigor and adherence to deadlines
- Versatility and teamwork
