**GENERAL DESCRIPTION**

The Delivery Driver, Level 1 is responsible for the care and operation of Company vehicles, delivery of product to customers, transport of goods from vendors as needed, and transport of goods between work locations on behalf of Water and Ice Co. (the “Company”). As an entry level position, they will also have increased responsibility for the manufacture of all in house products, the operation of production related equipment, assisting in loading/unloading delivery vehicles, and assisting in all aspects of the business to support daily operations.

**DUTIES**
- Loading/Unloading of delivery trucks supporting the Drivers
- Safe operation of company vehicles for the purpose of transporting goods
- Completion of delivery routes assigned as needed
- Completion of daily logbooks of vehicle activity
- Inventory tracking of delivered and received items
- Tracking of completed duties in the company tracking software
- Inspection of vehicles to ensure safe operating condition prior to each trip
- Care and cleaning of company vehicles
- Organization of incoming and outgoing product
- Operation of electric palletizer
- Inspection, Sanitation, and filling of water bottles for delivery and in store use
- Ice production for ice delivery sales
- Daily inspection of all production related equipment to ensure safe operation
- Care and cleaning of production equipment
- Other duties as required

**EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS**:

- Prior forklift/palletizer experience an asset
- Prior Driving Experience an Asset
- Familiarity with inventory tracking an asset

**KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED**:

- Ability to lift 44 pounds repeatedly
- Familiarity with inventory tracking
- Familiarity with palletizers
- Strong communication skills
- Proficient in basic math
- Responsive problem-solving pertaining to route changes and requirement
- Clear and legible writing
- Professional attitude

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $21.00-$23.00 per hour
