Production Manager

**Job Summary**
We are seeking a dedicated, experienced and detail-oriented **Production Manager** to oversee our raw pet food manufacturing operations. You will be responsible for production planning, staff supervision, quality assurance, and ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Manage daily production activities to ensure timely and efficient operations.
- Train, lead and mentor production staff on best practices and safety protocols.
- Monitor inventory of raw materials and finished products.
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards, SOPs, and health & safety regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for process improvement to optimize production flow and equipment use.
- Collaborate with ownership on production goals, process improvements, and capacity planning.
- Analyze production data to drive continuous improvement initiatives.

- Strong analytical skills with a focus on process improvement.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
**Qualifications**:
- 2+ years experience in food manufacturing, production management, or similar.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
- Knowledge of food safety and health & safety regulations.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in cold environments.

Pay: $45,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
