Die Finisher

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Die Finisher to join our team. As a Finisher, you will be responsible to assemble and disassemble injection molds, interpret specifications from engineering drawings and verbal instructions, and perform precision hand detailing using dental burrs, files, and other hand tools.

**Responsibilities**:

- Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, drawings, manual specifications or sample parts
- Accurately verify dimensions of machined tool to specifications using precision measuring equipment
- Perform special projects in support of the organization's business objectives.
- Must have your own measurement tools and hand tools.
- Report all issues to Manager
- Actively engaged in mentoring trainees and apprentices

Qualifications:

- Time management and interpersonal communication skills
- Excellent working knowledge of standard machining practices
- Able to excel in high-pressure situations.
- 2+ years experience in a similar field considered an asset.
- Experience with machining techniques using machinery including but not limited to manual and CNC lathes, milling machines, hand, and power tools, etc.
- Proficient in job planning and execution including but not limited to programming, setting up, operating, and basic maintenance of machinery and machining centers.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
