MacKay’s Truck and Trailer Center Limited is a well-established, family-owned business of 40 years, operating two full-service dealerships in Nova Scotia with recent expansion into PEI.

As part of our growth, we are currently seeking an experienced compact equipment technician to join our local Bobcat Team based in Truro, NS. This position will be a hybrid work environment as a Field Service Technician as well as “in shop” repair technician.

As a member of a diverse team, the compact equipment technician will be responsible for installing and testing new equipment, inspecting, troubleshooting and repairing equipment failures, and conducting routine equipment service and preventative maintenance procedures. Attention to detail is required to ensure accurate completion of job reports and warranty submissions.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven work experience as a compact equipment technician. Please provide any industry repair and maintenance certifications
- Ability to travel and work according to a changing schedule
- Excellent time management and customer service skills
- Ability to manually lift, push and pull up to 50lb
- Valid Driver’s License with satisfactory driving record (Driver's Abstract will be requested)
