Hello there I am a 32 year old active and vibrant woman who uses a wheelchair and I am looking to add an awesome female to my small team of personal care assistants No prior caregiving experience is required - I will provide you with full training. This job takes place in a friendly home environment that is enhanced by employees who are responsible_, _organized_, _sincere, and respectful of my home and privacy. This is part-time position with short shifts and is ideal for students or someone with a flexible schedule Although I use a wheelchair, I am fairly independent and therefore require mainly help for transfers (lifting me to and from my wheelchair to toilet/bed/shower - with mínimal assistance when I shower). You will also be responsible for general household tasks such as washing dishes, laundry, vacuuming, and basic meal prep. You will also be helping me with light physio/range of motion exercises. Compensation: $25/hour + $4 travel per shift Hours: Approx 10 total hours per week; typical shifts are mornings ~10:30am-12pm, evenings ~9pm-11pm Location: Condo near Canada's Wonderland **Requirements**: - Female who is reliable, honest, trustworthy, self-motivated - Physically fit - able to physically lift a 100lb woman - Has a driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle - Resides within 15 minutes or less from Canada’s Wonderland - Able to provide a vulnerable sector check (police check) or willing to upon request - Must be comfortable around a small sweet cat - Having a flexible schedule is an asset This is not a "cash" job (deductions: income tax, EI, CPP; + you will receive 4% vacation pay). You are paid bi-weekly via cheque. Paystubs & T4's provided. Vaccination is not required.
