**Who we are looking for**:
We are seeking an experienced construction superintendent to manage our projects. In this role, you will oversee our staff and sub-trades and ensure that the project is completed on time. As a superintendent, your job duties will also include allocating and monitoring budgets.

In this role, you will have to communicate effectively with a variety of people, such as construction workers, architects, and engineers. Knowing how to implement quality, health, and safety standards onsite is crucial to success.

We are looking for organized individuals with experience in this field who are able to work effectively under pressure.

**Responsibilities**:

- Identify the project's needs in collaboration with engineers, subcontractors, etc.
- Set performance goals and deadlines
- Plan construction processes
- Maintain a budget for the project and estimate costs
- Supervise staff and provide constructive feedback
- Monitoring and reporting on the progress of the project
- Achieve local authorities' approval for construction and plan inspections
- Implement safety and quality guidelines
- Ensure that appropriate equipment is ordered and maintained on a regular basis
- Keep track of material stock and orders
- Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly work site
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues on-site

**Requirements and skills**:

- Construction superintendent experience or a similar position
- Knowledge of local quality, safety, and health guidelines for construction job sites
- An in-depth understanding of the construction process and operations
- Microsoft Office proficiency
- Organizational and time-management skills
- Leadership and inspirational skills
- A degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field;
**Additional requirements**:

- 10 hours work days, 6 days a week

Overtime will be paid time and a half
- Dedication to the project
- Residential construction experience is an asset

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From $82,000.00 per year
