Come join our team The Kirkland Lake Microtel Inn & Suites is looking for someone to join our housekeeping team. Possibility of cross training to front desk.

Housekeeping Attendants ensure hotel rooms are cleaned to the highest of industry standards, ensuring guests are comfortable and satisfied with their experience within their hotels.

Hotel Housekeeping Responsibilities:
Hours of work are generally between 8AM and 6PM and include weekends and holidays. The number of hours vary but could be 30-40 hours per week during busy season

Clean each assigned guest room according to industry standard.ie:
Emptying trash
Changing the linens and making the bed
Clean bathrooms
Dusting guest room
Vacuuming floor
Clean and check under bed
Restock cart and supplies as necessary.
Each associate is expected to carry out, within their capabilities, all reasonable requests by management.
Hotel Housekeeping Job Qualifications:
Minimum lifting 25 lbs. Ability to verbally communicate effectively with guests and co-workers.
Pushing, pulling, bending, stooping, upward reaching.
Exposure to cleaning chemicals.
Prolonged periods of standing and/or walking.
Qualifications and Skills

Experience is not required as we are willing to train. The successful applicant must be very reliable and flexible to work additional shifts as needed.

Pay: $18.75-$19.25 per hour
