Job Reports To: Manager, System Administrator & BI
**Key Activities**:
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
System Administration & Business Intelligence
- Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports to support financial and operational decision-making;
- Provide technical support and training to end users on Sparkrock modules and BI tools;
- Collaborate with finance team and departments users to automate reporting, budgeting, and workflow processes;
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and escalate to Sparkrock support when necessary;
- Lead or support version upgrades, module rollouts, and testing of customizations;
- Create and maintain documentation for system processes, customizations, and integrations;
- Support the maintenance of the chart of accounts and other accounting dimensions;
- Monitor data quality and resolve any issues in collaboration with data owners.
Reporting & Financial Analysis
- Assist in preparing accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual internal financial reports to support senior leadership decision-making and stakeholder communications;
- Preparation of bank reconciliations;
- Support of the full cycle accounting and audit of the National Arts Centre Corporation and Foundation;
- Respond to ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting requests from the NAC Foundation and the NAC Corporation leadership and stakeholders;
- Undertake additional tasks or special projects for the NAC Foundation and the NAC Corporation as assigned by management to support evolving business needs.
**Skill Requirements**:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance or business administration;
- Professional accounting designation or equivalent is an asset;
- Minimum of four (4) years of professional experience in a similar position or an equivalent combination of education and experience;
- Fluently bilingual in both official languages is an asset;
- Excellent knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and other software;
- Skilled in VBA for automating journal entry templates and data processing;
- Proficient with Dynamics 365 Business Central and Power BI or equivalent;
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to details;
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
- Ability to build relationships across different teams;
- Ability to work under pressure and with a team and problem solving skills;
- Good organizational skills and initiative.
